Magigoo HT

4.5 · from 3,000+ reviews

High-temperature engineering filaments such as PEEK, PEKK, PEI and PPSU offer outstanding mechanical and chemical stability, making them highly sought after in the aerospace, automotive and medical industries. However, their high printing temperatures make them prone to warping. Magigoo Pro HT was developed specifically to solve this — delivering firm adhesion at build-plate temperatures of up to 150°C, while still releasing the part cleanly once the bed cools.

Discover which high-temperature materials work best with Magigoo Pro HT for reliable first-layer adhesion up to 150°C.

PEEK

Optimised
Bed Temperature: Up to 150 °C

Designed for reliable first-layer adhesion with PEEK filaments while allowing easy part removal after printing.

PEKK

Compatible
Bed Temperature: Up to 150 °C

Suitable for PEKK filaments, providing reliable adhesion at elevated printing temperatures.

PEI (Ultem)

Compatible
Bed Temperature: Up to 150 °C

Suitable for PEI filaments, helping reduce warping on demanding high-temperature prints.

PPSU

Compatible
Bed Temperature: Up to 150 °C

Suitable for PPSU filaments, providing reliable bed adhesion during high-temperature printing.

Application

Three steps. No rituals.

The same easy-application chemistry as every Magigoo — designed specifically for high-temperature engineering filaments like PEEK.

01

Shake, press, swipe

Shake the bottle for 3–5 seconds. Press the nib against the cold build plate to activate the spring valve. Spread one thin stripe back and forth — the goal is even coverage, not thickness.

Don't squeeze the bottle when the cap is off. The valve does the work.
02

Print immediately

No drying time needed. Print according to your filament manufacturer's recommendations — Magigoo Pro HT holds firmly at build-plate temperatures of up to 150°C.

For larger prints, a 10–20 mm brim helps manage warping.
03

Cool, flex, lift

Let the bed cool completely. The part should pop right off without tools.

WClean with a damp cloth. No chemicals or scraping needed.

I've tried all sorts of bed adhesion products, but the most effective and easiest to use has always been Magigoo.

I was blown away after the very first layer. Magigoo holds strong when hot, and the parts pop right off once it cools. Customer for life.

My first choice when it comes to adhesives. Applied once, it holds through several print jobs before I need to reach for the bottle again.

My go-to for printing engineering-grade nylons. It helps with both adhesion and release, and since switching I've had zero issues.

Magigoo was the answer to years of warping on carbon-fibre nylon prints. It lasts a long time too: we only reapply after around ten prints.

One of the best performing solutions we've used. Extremely reliable, easy to apply and easy to clean up.

If you're printing engineering filaments like ABS, ASA or nylon, you really need this. Without it you'll either get too little adhesion or too much and risk damaging your print bed. This stuff hits the sweet spot.

An absolute game changer. I'd been fighting bed adhesion on my Ender 3 for a year and had nearly given up on 3D printing. Now my prints stick perfectly with no bowing, and clean-up is easy.

Excellent product for holding troublesome prints down. I'm not sure of the chemistry, but it activates with heat and releases as it cools. I print mostly PETG and PLA, very happy.

If you're looking for an adhesive, you're probably already frustrated. This makes things simpler. Don't remove parts while the bed's still warm though: let it cool fully and they lift right off on their own.

Magigoo made it possible to print parts that were designed to be difficult, on build plates that previously couldn't get past the first layer. The improvement carries through to more specialised plates too.

I needed parts resistant to concentrated acids and acetone, printed in a filament that basically only sticks to itself. After trying every setting and tape combination, Magigoo worked perfectly, with almost zero warping.

FAQs

Quick answers, real fast.

The questions we get most often. Click any question to expand the answer.

Using Magigoo

Why is my print lifting from the build plate?

High-temperature materials can shrink significantly as they cool, creating stresses that pull the part away from the build plate. Make sure the build plate is properly heated, the first layer is well calibrated and Magigoo HT is applied evenly. For larger parts, maintaining a stable printing environment is also important.

My print is stuck to the build plate. How do I remove it?

Do not force the print off while the build plate is hot. Allow the surface to cool completely so that the adhesive bond can weaken. Once cooled, gently work around the edges of the print to release it.

Can I use Magigoo HT for large prints?

Yes. Magigoo HT is designed for high-temperature printing, including large engineering parts. For larger prints, consistent bed temperature, first-layer adhesion and a stable printing environment become increasingly important.

What should I do if Magigoo HT does not adhere properly to the build plate?

First, make sure the build plate is clean and at the correct temperature. Check the first-layer calibration and apply Magigoo HT evenly over the print area. If adhesion is still insufficient, review the recommended printing conditions for your material.

The applicator popped off. Help!

This usually happens when the bottle was squeezed instead of pressed. The applicator is designed to release product only when the nib is pressed down. Just push it back firmly — it should snap back into place.

For future use, remember: press, don't squeeze.
