Magigoo Supergrip

4.5 · from 3,000+ reviews

Magigoo Supergrip was engineered specifically for flexible and polymer-based build plates — PEI, PC, satin sheets and similar engineering-grade surfaces — where standard adhesives often flake or wear out quickly. It delivers strong, long-lasting adhesion across a wide range of materials including PLA, PETG, ABS/ASA and TPU, even at lower bed temperatures, while protecting your flex plate from wear over hundreds of applications.

Discover which materials and flex plates work best with Magigoo Supergrip for reliable, long-lasting adhesion.

PLA

Optimised
Bed Temperature: As low as 45 °C

Improved adhesion at colder bed temperatures, enabling PLA printing with minimal warping.

ASA

Optimised
Bed Temperature: Per filament spec

Enhanced adhesion across a wider temperature range compared to standard adhesives.

PETG

Compatible
Bed Temperature: Per filament spec

Suitable for PETG filaments, providing reliable adhesion on flexible build plates.

TPU

Compatible
Bed Temperature: Per filament spec

Suitable for flexible TPU filaments, providing reliable adhesion and easy part removal.

HIPS

Compatible
Bed Temperature: Per filament spec

Suitable for HIPS filaments, providing improved first-layer adhesion.

Application

Three steps. No rituals.

The same easy-application chemistry as every Magigoo, with one important difference: Supergrip is applied to a cold plate, not a hot one. No waiting for warm-up.

01

Shake, press, swipe

Shake the bottle for 3–5 seconds. Press the nib against the cold build plate to activate the spring valve. Spread one thin stripe back and forth — the goal is even coverage, not thickness.

Don't squeeze the bottle when the cap is off. The valve does the work.
02

Print immediately

No drying time needed. Heat the bed, send the print. The thermo-responsive polymer activates as the bed reaches your filament's temperature — the first layer bonds firmly through the entire job.

Even at lower bed temperatures, Supergrip keeps PLA prints adhered with minimal warping.
03

Cool, flex, lift

Once printing is done, flex the build plate gently to release the part. If it resists, let it cool for a few minutes and try again.

Clean with a damp cloth and water only. No chemicals or scraping needed.

I've tried all sorts of bed adhesion products, but the most effective and easiest to use has always been Magigoo.

I was blown away after the very first layer. Magigoo holds strong when hot, and the parts pop right off once it cools. Customer for life.

My first choice when it comes to adhesives. Applied once, it holds through several print jobs before I need to reach for the bottle again.

My go-to for printing engineering-grade nylons. It helps with both adhesion and release, and since switching I've had zero issues.

Magigoo was the answer to years of warping on carbon-fibre nylon prints. It lasts a long time too: we only reapply after around ten prints.

One of the best performing solutions we've used. Extremely reliable, easy to apply and easy to clean up.

If you're printing engineering filaments like ABS, ASA or nylon, you really need this. Without it you'll either get too little adhesion or too much and risk damaging your print bed. This stuff hits the sweet spot.

An absolute game changer. I'd been fighting bed adhesion on my Ender 3 for a year and had nearly given up on 3D printing. Now my prints stick perfectly with no bowing, and clean-up is easy.

Excellent product for holding troublesome prints down. I'm not sure of the chemistry, but it activates with heat and releases as it cools. I print mostly PETG and PLA, very happy.

If you're looking for an adhesive, you're probably already frustrated. This makes things simpler. Don't remove parts while the bed's still warm though: let it cool fully and they lift right off on their own.

Magigoo made it possible to print parts that were designed to be difficult, on build plates that previously couldn't get past the first layer. The improvement carries through to more specialised plates too.

I needed parts resistant to concentrated acids and acetone, printed in a filament that basically only sticks to itself. After trying every setting and tape combination, Magigoo worked perfectly, with almost zero warping.

Using Magigoo

Does Supergrip work with flexible build plates specifically?

Yes. Supergrip is formulated for superior spreadability and compatibility with flexible and polymer-based plates — including smooth and textured PEI, PC, engineering plates and satin sheets — without flaking or losing adhesive on removal.

How many prints can I get from one bottle of Supergrip?

Magigoo Supergrip delivers over 250 full-bed applications (235×235mm) per bottle, with multiple prints possible per application — significantly more than standard Magigoo adhesives.

My print isn't sticking. What now?

The most common cause is bed temperature being too low. Try increasing in 5–10°C increments until you find the sweet spot. Also check:

  • Bed is properly levelled
  • Magigoo layer is thin and even (a heavy layer can actually reduce adhesion)
  • You're using a Magigoo product suited to your material
My print is sticking too well — elephant's foot.

Bed is likely too hot. Decrease the bed temperature in 5–10°C increments. Elephant's foot (where the first few layers bulge out) usually disappears once you find the right temperature.

The applicator popped off. Help!

This usually happens when the bottle was squeezed instead of pressed. The applicator is designed to release product only when the nib is pressed down. Just push it back firmly — it should snap back into place.

For future use, remember: press, don't squeeze.

Where can I buy Magigoo locally?

We have 180+ resellers across 50+ countries. Use our distributor locator to find your nearest one — they usually ship faster than direct from Malta.

My Magigoo hasn't arrived yet.

Direct shipments from Malta can take up to three weeks depending on destination. For faster delivery, check our distributor locator — resellers usually have stock locally.

Can I take Magigoo on a plane?

Yes — Magigoo is water-based, non-pressurised, and was specifically designed for mobility. It's allowed in hand luggage.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Yes. If you're a specialist 3D printing retailer, distributor, or OEM partner, see our partner programme for application details and tier structure.
